31:30 for 3.6!

I just finished my 2nd leg. 3.6 miles in 31:30 in case you didn't do the math, that's under 9 minute miles! I'm so stoked right now! I'm not sure how I managed to run that fast when I could see -1 foot in front of me! It was sooooo dark on the trail I ran. I was thankful that there was a runner in front of me when I went through the first gates to the trail or I would have missed the pedestrian area and ran into the vehicle gate. It was actually nice when you passed someone so there headlamp gave you a little more light, or even when yes, I was passed. But hey, 5 Roadkillz baby!! I was very happy when I saw the last turn meaning .2miles left. I passed off to Clarissa as I screamed her name coming into the exchange! Clarissa just came in with a ridiculous fast pace, Gus is out for his 2nd leg.
