Leg 10: Finished!

I must say I surprised myself! 5.6 miles in approximately 50 minutes. The course was a flat run on the Glacial trail. The time went by really fast! I passed 3 roadkillz, and 2 fallen trees. I was happy to hear that the water station was not the halfway point, but about 2/3rd done according to the guy at the station. It was awesome hearing the encouragement from other teams the last half mile, I even had a brief conversation with another runner at the 1 mile marker. At the exchange point I handed off the orange bracelet to Clarissa, it was a great exchange seeing how we had planned it all out at exchange 9 while I was waiting for Virginia to come cruising in. I'm looking forward to passing some more people in my 2nd leg! Stay tuned, it'll be in the middle of the night.
